Every year on April 22, Earth Day is celebrated across the world. The first Earth Day occurred more than 50 years ago when a senator from Wisconsin organized a demonstration to raise awareness about environmental issues. Today, Earth Day is recognized in 190 countries to highlight the importance of taking care of our planet.
